Intensitas Emosi Moral pada Remaja
Abstract
Salah satu domain penting dalam perkembangan moral adalah emosi moral, karena dapat berfungsi sebagai alasan munculnya kecenderungan tindakan moral dan mengantisipasi pelanggaran moral pada remaja agar orang lain sejahtera. Namun, selama ini penelitian perkembangan moral lebih berfokus pada domain kognitif dan belum melihat profil emosi moral pada remaja baik remaja perempuan maupun remaja lakilaki. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) Menguji perbedaan emosi moral antara remaja perempuan dan laki-laki; 2) menguji secara deskriptif emosi moral berdasarkan bentuknya. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian komparatif dan deskriptif. Teknik analisisnya adalah deskriptif dan Uji T. Pemilihan partisipan menggunakan teknik multistage sampling dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 936 remaja usia 12-18 tahun di Semarang. Hasil peneltian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) ada perbedaan intensitas emosi moral antara remaja perempuan dan laki-laki. Remaja perempuan memiliki intensitas emosi moral lebih kuat daripada remajalaki-laki; 2) Tiga emosi moral yang memiliki intensitas yang paling kuat yaitu elevasi, compassion, dan rasa bersalah.
